a bird in the window is worth....

i was looking at an older copy of
my favorite magazine
november 2006 i think...
when i came across
a small picture of a bird...
the one in the magazine was made
from wood,
but i tried cardboard
and this is what i got...
i'm pretty happy with it
even though
the pictures don't really show
how cute
it looks hanging in the window...
it will make dish-doing-duty
a little more pleasant,
i hope.

1. You run into a friend who has just chopped off all her long hair (or suddenly has an Afro). What do you say? wow! look at you! what a change! how do you like it?

2. You walk by a well dressed man with manicured hands who smells like a gin martini. He asks you for money. What do you do? tell him the sad truth, i probably don't have any.

3. Your brother or sister or best friend falls madly in love with someone you think is a jerk. What do you do? bear with it, i learned from experience that you won't beleive what others tell you about the one you think you love, you have to find it out the hard way... all someone else can do is be there for support.

4. You get a terrible present from your husband, wife, girlfriend or boyfriend. Do you let it show? nope. not if it felt like he put thought into it, which he always does. i could never hurt his feelings like that.

5. Who's your favorite Beatle? heh. is it ok if i say none?

6. You walk by a disheveled man wearing soiled & tattered clothes. He politely asks you for money. What do you do? again, sadly, the truth is i probably don't have any...

6. Skinny Elvis or Fat Elvis? neither. i prefer johnny cash.
