tuesday truths...
- I have been eating an abundance of cucumber sandwiches
- Stir fried string beans are my new favorite.
- I sold 3 watercolor cards...and am SO EXCITED...it always
kind of blows my mind to think someone wants to pay MONEY
for something I made...I will never get used to that. - I am loving this radio station.
- I totally and unabashedly sang Rock Me Amadeus in the car today.
I seriously forgot how frigging awesome that song is. - I need to make a new playlist...any suggestions?
whatcha readin'? {books 22, 23 and 24::goal 24}
First off,
can I just say...
YAY ME!!!
I have actually met (and passed) my goal of 24 books
for this year!
Secondly...
I love Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman.
I used to read A LOT of Dragonlance books
which are generally by different authors
but the series that were done by Weis & Hickman
were always my favorite.
Vikings and dragons and magic...
old gods, mythology,
good vs evil...
a little bit of everything that gets
a geeky heart racing.
I know that there is a 4th book in this series
but I haven't read it yet...
but I did hear that the series may not get finished
so that makes me sad.

NEXT UP: BEARTOWN - FREDRIK BACKMAN
out fer a rip...
On one of my beach days this summer,
I went to Victoria by the Sea
(which is one of my most favorite places...
but...not at the height of tourist season...).
this totally surprised me.
the rocks make me think of rippled chocolate. I just want to eat them.
(but...I won't.)
I went to the beach and hung out there for the afternoon,
then ended up in Canoe Cove...
and drove through Bonshaw on the way home
which was where I saw those adorable sheep
and could have sat by the
side of the road watching them
for the rest of the day....
if that wouldn't have been creepy for the people
who lived in the house that owned the sheep.
and then there was the dirt road
on the way home...
that even had a DIRT ROAD INTERSECTION.
:) :) :)
this photo makes me think of fairy tales...I keep waiting to see little red riding hood...
(but...not the wolf).
